Exabytes today launched GROW AI at the Exabytes GROW AI Summit 2026, held at EQ Kuala Lumpur. The initiative signals a strategic shift for the company—from helping businesses build and expand their digital footprint to guiding them in adopting artificial intelligence in a secure, practical, and scalable manner. This new direction extends Exabytes’ long-standing GROW Digital mission into its next phase, supporting organisations as they move beyond fragmented AI tools and isolated pilots toward integrated applications that enhance productivity, customer engagement, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

Centred on the principles of Reliable, Accessible, Scalable, and AI-driven (RASA) , GROW AI consolidates Exabytes’ strengths in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, eCommerce, workplace productivity, automation, and managed AI services. It also leverages Exabytes Commerce’s specialised expertise in eCommerce and AI-powered customer journeys. Through this strategy, Exabytes aims to guide entrepreneurs, SMEs, large enterprises, and public-sector bodies from digital adoption to AI-enabled growth, advancing its broader goal of empowering one million businesses to GROW AI by 2030.
The launch arrives as Malaysia progresses toward its [AI Nation 2030] vision, and as enterprises face mounting pressure to convert AI interest into tangible implementation. A [2025 study] by Ecosystm in partnership with Red Hat and supported by the National AI Office revealed that only 21% of 133 Malaysian SMEs surveyed had moved beyond AI pilots, with 60% citing a lack of in-house technical expertise as a primary barrier.
“For the past 25 years, Exabytes has been helping businesses build the digital foundations they need to thrive. GROW AI is the next chapter—guiding organisations from simply being digitally present to becoming intelligently operated,” said Chan Kee Siak, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Exabytes Group. “Businesses know AI will shape their competitive landscape, but many are unsure where to start or how to implement it securely. Our role is to cut through that complexity by bringing together the technology, infrastructure, expertise, and partners needed to turn AI into measurable business outcomes.”

Building the Right AI Ecosystem
The GROW AI Summit brought together over 500 business owners, C-suite leaders, technology professionals, solution providers, and public-sector representatives to explore practical pathways from AI interest to execution.
Featured participants included Amazon Web Services, Lark, Aurora Mobile, Moka AI, Sangfor, EasyParcel, Aegis Cloud, AITraining2U, and Forward College, offering expertise across cloud infrastructure, enterprise AI, workplace collaboration, human resources, cybersecurity, commerce, implementation, and talent development.
Senior executives and industry leaders delivered keynotes, live demonstrations, and panel discussions covering infrastructure modernisation, AI integration into daily workflows, enhanced customer engagement, data protection, and workforce preparation for scalable AI adoption. Sessions also examined AI’s impact on commerce and customer journeys, and how technology providers, businesses, and educational partners can collaborate to close Malaysia’s implementation and skills gaps—particularly in HR and organisational effectiveness, as highlighted by AI-native firm Moka AI. The summit concluded with a networking session featuring NameStudio, an AI-enhanced domain discovery and suggestion service.
Exabytes and Aurora Mobile Forge Strategic Enterprise AI Partnership
A major highlight of the summit was the signing of a three-year Memorandum of Understanding between Exabytes and Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ: JG) , via Aurora Mobile’s enterprise AI platform, GPTBots.ai.

The MoU was formalised by Chan Kee Siak, Founder and CEO of Exabytes Group, and Chris Lo, Founder & CEO of Aurora Mobile. This collaboration merges Exabytes’ cloud infrastructure, managed services, regional customer network, and local implementation capabilities with Aurora Mobile’s enterprise AI platforms, AI agents, knowledge management, workflow automation, and AI application development expertise.
Under the agreement, the companies plan to co-develop enterprise AI solutions for businesses across Southeast Asia. Offerings will span AI-powered customer service, sales, marketing, and knowledge assistants for SMEs, as well as enterprise AI agents, intelligent service desks, workflow automation, private AI deployments, and hybrid AI infrastructure for larger organisations and government entities.
The partnership also encompasses internal AI projects within Exabytes’ operations, joint proof-of-concept initiatives for customers, managed AI services, and regional ecosystem-building efforts. Successful internal applications are expected to be refined into repeatable solutions and implementation frameworks for Exabytes’ customers.

“Enterprise AI transformation is about more than deploying a standalone chatbot or application. Organisations need to connect AI with their knowledge, workflows, employees, and operational systems, while embedding the right governance, security, and operating capabilities for sustained adoption. By combining GPTBots.ai‘s enterprise AI platform and agent capabilities with Exabytes’ infrastructure, managed services, implementation expertise, and regional reach, we aim to help organisations across Southeast Asia move from isolated pilots to enterprise-wide AI adoption that delivers lasting business value,” said Chris Lo, Founder and CEO of Aurora Mobile.
The MoU and summit programme reflect Exabytes’ partner-centric approach to GROW AI, integrating expertise across cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, commerce, and talent development to help businesses progress from isolated use cases to sustainable AI implementation.
“Businesses don’t need to overhaul every function at once. They can start with one clearly defined operational challenge and expand their AI adoption as their capabilities evolve. The real challenge is moving AI from an individual level—where ROI is hard to measure—to a company-wide level with clear financial metrics. Our focus is on helping organisations identify where AI can create genuine value, build the right foundation, and move beyond experimentation to implementation that scales with their business,” said Eric Foo, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Exabytes Group.
The summit marks the start of a broader push to translate Exabytes’ GROW AI strategy into practical implementation support, managed services, and scalable solutions for businesses throughout Southeast Asia. By combining its regional presence with a partner ecosystem spanning infrastructure, enterprise AI, cybersecurity, commerce, and talent, the company aims to empower one million businesses to GROW AI by 2030—and compete confidently in an increasingly intelligence-driven economy.
