The Embassy of Colombia in Malaysia, in partnership with LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, is proud to present “Colombia in Malaysia: A Celebration” a two-day cultural festival taking place on July 17 & 18, 2026 on the rooftop of LaLaport Shopping Center, Bukit Bintang City Centre, from 3pm to 10 pm. Admission is free and open to all.
This festive event promises to bring the warmth, colour, and rhythm of Colombia straight to Kuala Lumpur, and everyone is invited. The highlight of the weekend is the electrifying Salsa Show by Ensalsate Dance Group, one of Colombia’s most dynamic dance companies, performing live and free to the public on the evening of July 18 at 7:00 PM. Renowned for their dazzling footwork and infectious energy, Ensalsate will deliver a world-class salsa experience that will leave audiences breathless.
But the fun starts a night earlier. On Friday, July 17 at 7:00 PM, visitors can join a FREE Salsa Workshop— no experience needed! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned dancer, this is the perfect chance to pick up some moves from the pros before the big show.
Throughout both days, a lively bazaar will fill the rooftop with the flavors and crafts of Colombia, Latin America, and Malaysia — from aromatic coffee and traditional food to handmade artisan goods that celebrate the richness of both cultures. Come celebrate, connect, and let the music move you.
