SNT Global Logistics Sdn Bhd (SNT) has officially launched its RM80 million Smart Warehouse in U10, Shah Alam, marking a major milestone in the company’s 20-year history and underscoring its ongoing investment in technology-driven logistics. The 175,000 sq ft facility integrates advanced automation and smart warehouse technologies to enhance efficiency, expand fulfilment capacity, and meet the evolving needs of businesses operating across multiple sales channels.

As companies expand across online and offline channels, managing inventory, processing orders, and meeting delivery expectations have grown increasingly complex. Traditional warehouses reliant on manual labour often struggle to keep pace with volatile demand and rising order volumes. Businesses increasingly require logistics partners capable of managing these demands efficiently while supporting their growth.
The new Smart Warehouse combines robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and automated systems with SNT’s internally developed Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enhance inventory management, goods movement, sorting, and order fulfilment. By reducing repetitive manual tasks and streamlining warehouse processes, these technologies deliver a 50% improvement in operational efficiency and a 100% increase in fulfilment throughput. This enables SNT to handle larger business volumes and serve more customers while maintaining cost-competitive fulfilment services.
David Wong, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SNT, said: “For many years, logistics was viewed primarily as a back-end cost centre. Today, it has become an important factor in determining how successfully businesses compete, expand, and respond to new opportunities. At SNT, we recognised this shift early and have continuously evolved our capabilities over the past two decades, guided by our vision to be our customers’ greatest advantage for growth. Our ambition is not simply to build bigger warehouses or move more goods, but to create lasting value for our customers while helping raise the standard of fulfilment services in Malaysia.”
As a leading omnichannel fulfilment solutions provider, SNT offers end-to-end services spanning inventory management, order fulfilment, distribution, and other value-added solutions—going beyond traditional warehousing and transportation. Through a single integrated service network, SNT helps businesses manage orders across both online and offline sales channels without the complexity of coordinating multiple logistics providers.

The launch also marked a significant sustainability milestone, with the Smart Warehouse receiving GreenRE Gold Certification for its sustainable building design. The facility features solar energy, rainwater harvesting, water-efficient systems, and environmentally friendly building materials. The certification reflects SNT’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and supporting businesses that prioritise sustainability in their supply chains.

Driven by growing demand for its integrated logistics and fulfilment services, SNT is exploring further expansion to support businesses across Malaysia. The company plans to develop another Smart Warehouse in the Klang Valley and has recently acquired two acres of land in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone to support its operations in southern Malaysia. These developments reflect SNT’s confidence in the industry’s growth potential and its long-term commitment to strengthening its logistics network.
SNT was among the early recipients of Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) status from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), which was recently extended for another five years. Looking ahead, SNT aims to develop future logistics talent through industry-academia collaboration and initiatives that equip professionals with the skills needed in an increasingly technology-driven industry.
