UVACO Makes Malaysian Debut as Strategic Hub for Regional Growth

Taiwanese biotech wellness brand UVACO officially launched its Malaysian operations today with the opening of its office in Bangsar South, positioning the country as a pivotal overseas market and a strategic springboard for future expansion across Southeast Asia. The move combines Grape King Bio’s decades of research and manufacturing excellence with an initial product lineup of health supplements, nutrition essentials, and wellness solutions tailored for daily living. The launch signals strong confidence in Malaysia’s rapidly evolving wellness landscape and its role as a regional nerve centre.

Malaysia was chosen for its strategic geographic position, resilient economy, and rising consumer awareness around preventive health. According to the Malaysia Supplement Market 2026 survey by Vodus Research, immunity (55%) and energy (43%) rank as the top reasons Malaysians turn to supplements today. These insights align perfectly with UVACO’s biotechnology-driven approach, offering a solid foundation for both local engagement and long-term global growth.

“This is a significant milestone in UVACO’s journey and the start of an exciting new chapter for us in Malaysia,” said Ms. Grace Tseng, Chief Executive Officer of UVACO Global. “Our new centre is more than an operational base — it’s a platform to serve consumers, empower partners, and connect with the community. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity, drawing on our parent group’s research capabilities to deliver quality products while staying attuned to local needs. Our goal is to grow sustainably and earn the trust of Malaysian families as a brand they welcome into their daily lives.”

“As the local team, we are committed to working closely with government bodies, industry associations, and partners to build a business platform that is both locally grounded and globally minded,” added Mr. Marco Chen, General Manager of UVACO Malaysia. “We will continue to enhance member services, training, and business support, standing alongside every partner as they grow — so that we can establish a credible and lasting presence in this market for the years ahead.”

The official opening ceremony was attended by representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), business associates, and invited guests, highlighting the deepening economic ties between Malaysia and Taiwan while celebrating UVACO’s market entry.

“UVACO’s launch in Malaysia underscores the growing confidence of Taiwanese enterprises in the country as a strategic regional gateway. As economic and people-to-people connections continue to strengthen, we welcome initiatives that bring Taiwanese innovation and biotech expertise while fostering deeper collaboration between our two economies,” said Mr. James Buu, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia.

With Malaysia as its launchpad for regional ambitions, UVACO aims to deepen partnerships with local stakeholders while expanding educational outreach, community programmes, and access to science-backed wellness solutions across the globe.
